The largest frog is the goliath frog, which weighs over 6 pounds and grows 13 inches long. Scientists can use these rings to figure out the age of a frog. Frog bones form a ring when the frog is hibernating, just like trees do. Every different species of frog makes it's own special sound and it is only the male frog that can croak. They never close their eyes, even when they sleep. Frogs can see forwards, sideways and upwards all at the same time.
Instead it is attached to the front, enabling the frog to stick its tongue out much further. Unlike humans, their tongue is not attached to the back of its mouth. Frogs use their sticky, muscular tongue to catch and swallow food. Instead of drinking water, frogs soak it into their body through their skin.
